He feared people more than he did with God. Sauls life projects ending truths insecurity Distorts identity. When Saul protested his calling – “Am I not a Benjamite”? it appeared as humility. It was disbelief. His insecurity compromised obedience. Insecurity is a feeling of uncertainty, lack of confidence, or anxiety about oneself, abilities, or personal worth. Insecurity refers to the state of being insecure, often characterized by self-doubt, fear, and uncertainty about one’s abilities, value, or social acceptance.
Prayer: Renouncing the spirit of Saul
In the name of Jesus Christ,
I renounce every trace of Saul-like leadership in my life.
I reject the crown that pride offers and cast down every throne built on rebellion.
I will not be a king without consecration, a father without alignment, or a mentor with murder in my heart.
Every spirit that entered through disobedience, I evict you now.
Every altar built on insecurity; I pull you down by the hammer of the word of God.
Every throne not established by God over my life and family be overturned by fire in Jesus' name.
I receive the fire of purification and the word of truth in Jesus' name. Let the Saul in me die and the Holy Spirit have His free flow in me in Jesus' name.
